Our breath and proper breath techniques are the key to health, vitality, calmness of mind and emotional equanimity in life. It is essential on the path of deepening a Yoga practice and prepares the body & mind to more easily access deeper states of meditation. This workshop covers the basic philosophies, effects, contraindications and proper techniques of a variety of beginner to intermediate classical Hatha Yoga Pranayamas. Come breathe your way to bliss!

Greg has been teaching and practicing for 12 years with many great masters worldwide. Drawing on a deep well of knowledge and experience from many traditions; as well as his own developed intuition, Greg lightheartedly adapts each class, technique and moment for the needs of the students. His deepest wish is that each one of us realise our own innate beauty, and experience contentment; not as a future concept, but as the full acceptance and present moment embodiment of our own unique spirit.

Greg teaches Pranayama, Hatha Yoga, Kirtan, Kundalini, Meditation, Vinyasa Flow, Yoga Nidra.

He is sensitive, creative and earth conscious. When he found yoga, it was like coming home. Greg spent years travelling and teaching worldwide, taught over 9,000 public classes, leads international workshops, trainings, and maintains a devoted self-practice and commitment to personal inquiry and growth.

In this workshop he focuses on the Breath of Life through pranayama and meditation.

In his usual Yoga Barn classes provides a truly balanced, grounded and holistic experience. His yoga is rooted in Classical Hatha, and influenced by many styles and beloved gurus; his classes are fun, focused, and very naturally flowing; lightheartedly exploring and embracing our shared humanness. Greg is also a seasoned and passionate musician and Kirtanist, having lead charity Kirtans for years. 

Greg's current philosophy: "Life is a Divine Leela (play); Let's embrace our differences, support each other through the challenges, learn how to laugh at ourselves, and have gratitude for the gift of life around us."

The Yoga Barn is located in the heart of Ubud, Bali's cultural hub, The Yoga Barn is Southeast Asia's full service yoga studio and holistic healing retreat center.
